It looks like it has a sturdy tublier steel subframe. So I can't see why not.
With the plethora of great quality, lightweight and durable soft luggage solutions out there now (Kriega, Mosko etc), there is no real need for heavy boxes and frames anymore.
I still cringe and shudder when I think of how I spent over £1000 on Metal Mules for an XT600 in 2006. Which totally ruined the bike. And the ride.
I swapped them out for $200 softbags which did the job much better and tranformed my bike into a capable machine again.
