Womens Boots? Rev'it Apache H2O? Sidi Canyon

I'm looking for boots for my wife. She rides an F650 and needs a boot to do long distance touring in. She current wears her thor motocross boots that offer great protection but aren't great in the rain and overkill when it comes to the days on the blacktop. Anyone of the ladies wearing the Rev'it Apache or Sidi Canyon? Others

+1 for the Sidi Canyons. Very comfy if wearing them day in, day out.

I wear Daytona LadyStar boots
They're not cheap but mine are still waterproof and very comfortable after 30,000 miles in all weathers. They offer good protection but are perhaps not hardy enough for off-road riding.

By ordering through the mail, I was able to try on 3 different boots at the same time. I was looking for boots for the rain and hoping to get walking comfort at the same time. I chose the Dainese Visoke and, of course, it was the most expensive of the three. My husband also ended up choosing this boot.

We just bought Altberg continental tourers for both of us, highly recommended. totally comfortable to walk in and ride. They are not made of waterproof materials but, leather, if treated properly stays pretty dry.
My "waterproof" Rev'it Apache get very wet inside and never dry cos of the waterproof liner. They are also impossible to walk in. The leather Altbergs dry! They also make a "waterproof" version. 2 month waiting list is the only downside. It can be less.

Just an update on my husbands earlier post. He ordered me Daytona Ladystar GTX. Wow amazing and they make me 2 full inches taller! Well worth the wait. Sara

Glad you like the boots Sara - I love mine too - brilliant on & off the bike.

However, after just 1 day riding in muddy conditions off-road I've bought some Alpinestars Tech 3 Stella boots (half the price of the Daytona's so less concerned about ruining them but they're like walking in ski-boots!)

We are planing a RTW but all bikes we considered are too tall for me. So now we have pretty much decided on a F650 GS with lowered seat.

But an extra inch or two from the boots would defo help Are the Daytonas above my only option or does anyone know of others? I have other Daytonas atm. They are brill but seem a little stiff for just walking in.....

I went to quick cobbler and had vibram soles added to my Daytona Ladystar too and that adds another 1 1/4 inches. Sara

Try to drop the front forks.
Also you may modify the low seat and get all the foam removed and a gel seat inserted (makes a big difference and is comfortable).

Otherwise, have you considered the G650GS? They have a low seat starting at 75cm. This is very low! It has very good reviews too.
