1984 XT 600 CDI - purchase?

Hi All,

My 1984 XT 600 has a dead CDI. Where can I purchase a new unit that won't cost $630?...... HELP!

Thanks!

sorry bertrand, anything against you, but first one is a 2KF model, not good for a 1984\85 43F (ok can be adapted maybe, but is not ready to use). Second one is a 2000 model, is completely different (TCI model, not CDI).

Third one is OK. Maybe aftermarket CDI can be cheaper also here IgniTech

I have a spare CDI if you get stuck.
It's a genuine Yamaha one off a 1984 bike.

Xt 600 Cdi

Hi Tom,

I've seen many after market CDI's on Ebay, but don't understand the whole Ebay thing. What condition is your CDI? How many miles are on it? Could you send a picture of it? How much are you asking? I'm in San Diego, California.
Thanks, Baron

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
