Made one myself, but if I was closer, I check this guys out, he's looking for bikes for prototype parts, and I know there was interest from a couple of guys w/ XT600's, just nobody close enough. Not sure what part of Cali you're from, but if you're close, I'd definitely check into it.

Same: Rear rack wanted, 1991 XT600

I am also looking for a rear rack for a 1991 Yamaha XT600. Even a picture that would help me to fabricate one would help. Dave

Here's a recently completed eBay auction that was for a 1990 XT600 factory rack, the pictures might be useful:

xt600 rack

Thanks for the picture. It looks like fabrication is going to be the way to go. These racks are rare.

I'd like to get a rack for mine to mount a solid top box to. It looks like the mounting is done at the passenger hand grip using longer bolts to replace the existing ones. I wonder if one could do a simple re-fab to a rack for a bike with similar passenger hand grips?

Riky Cross makes a rally rear rack. Like the skidplate, it looks sturdy. In the states we have to order from them directly because there are no stocking dealers here. Here's a link to their web site: Benvenuto su Riky Cross - tutti i tuoi migliori accessori per moto, cavalletti moto, parti in carbonio, accessori per team. It is in the Rally Accessories section of their catalog; part number 101. I am considering a large order from them so let me know if you are interested. Shipping is outrageous but their stuff is nice.

Interesting. Looks good, but do you have any ideas on the prices for any of their stuff? Thanks,
