Why? this shows that you can use the acerbis 4pt thank on the 3tb if you dont mind the gap from seat to tank.

What measurements do you need? I got beyond lucky and found the Acerbis tank for my 3tb one town over.

I was thinking about that. I use a wolfman tank bag and it covers that gap. THUMPTHUMP

I think they're too far of to be usable, but each to his own.
The 1990-95 acerbis gastanks still pop up on ebay from time to time.

Maybe over there but it would be extremely rare in the US. To ship one here from there seems to double the price. Bummer. THUMPTHUMP

plan B, Acerbus has a tank available for a 1998-1004 tt 600. From the pictures , the seat notch in back is shorter and rounder than the 1995 and up tank. It looks to be a better match for the shape of the 1990-1995 600e sold in the US. Anyone have access to a TT600 that age to check the seat fit from a 3TB? THUMPTHUMPTHUMP

I've got a tank, but not sure if its from the tt or the ttr(e)
Will have a look sometime soon, and update the thread.

That would be great Jens. I can get a 20 ltr. tt tank from Acerbus for about $250 in the US. THUMPTHUMP

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
