2KF XT600E engine with 3TB electrics

Hi all, looks like this is the right place to ask anything about XT's.

Anyway, I just recently purchased a 1990 XT600E engine with all the electrics, TCI box, Ignition coil etc. I checked all the resistance according to the service manual and everything is within spec. My problem is if i hit the electric starter, it will only spark once everytime you crank. But after that initial spark, it wouldn't spark again, unless you stop and hit the electric start again. Have anyone experienced this? I am thinking that it might be the TCI or the pickup coil.
We did additional test by putting a soldering gun next to the pickup coil and we do get multiple spark in the plug.

More on wiring, so basically I only have the motor so everything was simple, I have 7 wires coming out of the TCI box:
2 wires goes to the pickup coil(Green/white and Blue/yellow)
Red/Yellow connected to 12volts
Black to ground
Blck/white is basically the kill switch so not connected to anything
Gray not connected to anything
And Orange goes to the ignition coil (-)

I did all the wiring correct according to the service manual but I don't understand why I am getting only one spark. It should be continous everytime the mark passes by the pickup coil right?

Anyway help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

I have the wiring set also but it is made to have all the safety switches to be included (ie nuetral, side stand, etc.). That is why I started from scratch and eliminated everything that I don't need to start the engine.
