DUDE iam not talking about what you got, part list for the original jets? We cant solve this if we dont know the original sizes of jets.

So main jet original is 145 for your bike, jet pilot 54, second carb it says not avaible.. so then go for the 160 on the main carb, find out what is the original size on the second carb and drill it up a little.

like i said Dude..cant see the writing on the jets and i don't know what they are from standard. Assume they are standard,whatever that is
I'm not being funny but i got to go to sleep. I'm having trouble focusing.

Ok i found out you have 145 on both jets, so they really went up from the xt carb. Go for 160 on both then, your dealer can provide, maybe try 155 on the second carb first. ¨

Cheers mate for clarifying what standard jetting is. I have put the 160 in the slide carb and used the biggest drill bit on the cv carb main jet.
I have the Yam exploded parts diagram BUT cant tell the sequence of the washer and plastic collar that adjust the needle height. I mistakenly took it apart late last night to check the clip position..it in 2nd one from the pointy end!
Anyone able to help identify the sequence?..

Use slide 3 from top, CV carb is the slide second carb.

out of the five positions on the cv carb needle standard was the third one down . the kit instructions advise to move the circlip down one to position four.
what I'm confused about is the sequence of the white plastic collar and brass washer and how they 'fit' on the needle ..
I think its spring,brass washer,clip then white collar......
does the reainting coller,that holds the assembled needle jet setup in place via two screws , fit so the hole in the bottom of the slide is exposed or covered?..

Yes then move it one down, i have a spring, washer, circlip, washer and plastic collar.

Again thank you. I only have the one washer. Do you know which way the retaining washer fits?..the one with that's held in place with two screws.
I have fitted it so the newly drilled hole is exposed...

Yes you have to see the hole thats correct, mine extra washer came with the kit. Remember to sync the carb so the second carb open correct.

whoa!!!..totally different bike. Smooth linear oomph!!..managed 70mph with ease.
