Could you share your experience? I'm interested in fitting an oversize higher compression piston myself, and I could use some feedback on the product too

Wiseco vs other?
I prefer JE pistons.
We've fitted Wiseco pistons in various Honda's (mostly 4-stroke trailbikes) over the years, but they did not last that well (mainly rings loosing their effectiveness, loss of compression and high oil consumption)

JE
I agree, Wiseco are not great pistons. If you search round the racing forums you'll see. They don't last all that long. But if not racing then your Wiseco will probably be OK if all was installed properly. Good luck!
Plus One on JE +++
I've also used JE pistons, VERY good results!
Used them on two of my (former) 2 stroke race bikes and more recently on my Honda XR250R. Very good product. Also good reports about JE from riding friends and on forums.

I had a rebore and fitted a wiseco piston at 64,000km on an XT600z Tenere 34L.
I've just got back from another hard 4 day 1500km Tenere Tragics ride around the Victorian high country and the bike has now done 99100km and is still going strong. No high oil consumption and still compression to hurt your foot when it kicks back!!
It rattles a bit from cold but a lot of forged pistons do that. The up side is that I'm safe in the knowledge that when things start to get really hot it's not likely to seize!!
I'm sure if you run it in properly you should have no problems.
