hi mate
not sure i'm keeping cardboard model after this time, so will have to measure actual bashplate.
thing is that planning to do some unplanned service in the mid-june (springs and/or ratcheting mechanism around shift cam requiring some attention), so, obviously, will have to remove bashplate.
if you are not in the hurry, i could provide more precise dimensions after removal (supposedly in couple weeks), or, if more rough measurements are also acceptable, i could measure stuff in situ supposedly during couple days..

yes, that's what i did some time ago -
extra is the upper part.
had to make it slightly forward-inclined, to maintain ~2cm clearance with alt.cover.
naturally, it goes just to the limits of alt.cover plug, to let turn the crankshaft.
now the left side also has needed safety )

thanks for the time and effort.
guess it could make much easier for others to do same or modified project.
although, uploaded file is not directly accessible, google wants each viewer to request access permission.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
