Blue Spot caliper on 600E

Hiya .Does anyone have a drawing of the adapter plate required to fit an R6 5EB left hand blue spot caliper to a 2001 XT 600E ?
Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Blue spot was not the best caliper, go for yellow/gold.

Turboguzzi. I did spend some time searching this forum . :-D

I was searching for caliper upgrades and bluespots.
Perhaps the fact that they don't fit might have something to do with the lack of information.....

Do you know of any caliper upgrades that will fit ?

Thank you.

with the stock disc diameter you can only do so much...

EBC does a 320mm disc
EBC Super Moto Disc (Single) YAMAHA XT 600 E 95-03 320MM SM6116C

at this point, you will need new caliper adapater plates anyway so you might as well go with a more modern 2 pot brembo caliper of a KTM. a brembo will have also more choice of brake pad materials

i think that even with the extra clearance between disc and spokes that a 320mm disc will give you, you will still not be able to fit any 4 pot, just too wide.

cant give you more info than that, my xt600 supermoto runs a 320mm disc and a 4 pot GSXR caliper, but it has a 17" cast wheel with enough space for it

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
