came out nicely. i need to figure out how to stiffen the suspension.....any ideas?

Nice looking bike! I also have an Acerbis Supermoto front fender on my '94 (but in blue). I put Progressive Suspension springs in my forks for better control. You can also order springs from Works Performance if you know the specific dimensions/rates. Don't know what might fit the rear. What wheels/hubs/spokes did you use and how much did the conversion cost?

we took the cheap route since the bike isn't really worth that much. we used the stock hubbs....the front rim is the rear rim off of an IT400 and the rear rim and spokes we got from Buchannan's. with the tires, rims, spokes and lacing i think we got away with only spending around $500.

we need to stiffen up the rear suspension tho. does Works have a rear spring for the XT? :confused1:

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
