Hi Fred, you need to find a microfiche reader that can print paper copies, but don't expect the quality to be as good as a photocopier. Your options are
a) ask a mate to do it for you in work (cost: a couple of s)
b) try a library in a big city (cost: about 10 pence per sheet)
c) look in the telephone directory for microfilming or photocoping services and phone around (cost: around 35 pence per sheet)
Don't give up it can be done.

More interesting then that.... Did someone already do the job? And willing to provide us all with a copy at the cost of a couple of bears....!?

Ok - I was going to get this done for myself some time ago. As there seems to be a bit of interest I will get copies made this month for anyone who wants one. The microfiche I have is for a 1993 XTZ660.

Hello Ralph, is it the workshop manual that you have? If so I'd be interested. BTW where can you have it printed?

Hi Fred - maybe I confused myself a little, I have the spares list on microfiche for a '93 XTZ660 from which I will make paper copies shortly.
I also have the Yamaha workshop manual on paper. I got it from Motoward ( www.motoward.co.uk) The part number for the book is 3YF281978000 (XTZ660 '91). The original is no longer in print so they provided me with a bound photocopy (about £35 I think)
Will let you know when spares list is ready - going to a Nav Rally in the south of Ireland this weekend then double shift at work - give me a couple of weeks!
Bye

Hi all,
Recently obtained a 1983 34L XT600 Tenere. Winter project ahead!
I have ordered a workshop manual for this model/year of bike, but will need to replace quite a lot of the panels, tank, ignition etc. Only 32K KM from new - engine runs a treat.
I would appreciate any additional information including part lists for this model of XT600.
Thanks.
Charlie.
