Parts diagrams

I live in the U.S. and own a 1983 XT600Z (34L). I need to find some replacement parts and they are hard to come by stateside. Does anyone know of any online parts diagrams for the 34L? Also, I'd be interested in obtaining a microfiche if anybody knows where I could get one. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

The US Yamaha site still has many of the old parts lists/fiche available online.
Go out on this link: My Yamaha Prompt - Parts Catalog
And, select Motorcycle (Product); 1984 (Model Year); XT600L (Model?).

Good luck,
Geoff

ps:- In the US it looks like BikeBandit offers many of the OEM parts mail-order. See OEM (Stock) Parts at BikeBandit.com

Thanks for the reply. Ordering the parts is not the problem. I usually get my parts from Ron Ayers Motorsports - Motorcycle, ATV, Jet Ski and Generators Parts and Accessories. They have a great ordering engine where you can just enter the part number. However, this only works for bike models available in the U.S. While many parts of the regular XT600 will fit on the Tenere, there are many parts that are model year specific. For example, I am after a new set of side covers. The folks that I usually order my foreign parts from don't have the fiche for a 1983 Tenere. Therefore, I am in search of a parts diagram so that I can provide my own part numbers. I usually use www.carrickyamaha.com to order my foreign parts. So I am still looking for an online parts diagram, a PDF, or microfiche. If anyone has a microfiche that I can borrow, I will get it converted to PDF and then post it on the web for all to access. Thanks again. Regards, Troy.

Parts Catalogue PDF

Not exactly what you're after, but I've got a 72 page PDF parts catalogue for a XT600E (4PTB Europe/4SL7 Switzerland) with parts exploded drawings and all the part numbers.

Send me a message if you're interested.
