the brain washing continues

this time with "Peter" Pterhansel on the helm

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41fSt7C9jw4

had the pleasure of riding behind him (or more like stay with him for all of 30 seconds) in a promotional event, was absolutely breathtaking to see what he does on the bike.

another little anecdote from that occasion: when he was given his WR450 he didnt like the handlebar bend. He walked around the pits for a while till he found a piece of steel tube in a trash bin, he placed it on the handlebar tips and proceeded to bend both ends more to his liking.... talk about finesse...

what a beautiful promo video! it seems light agile and in conclusion a very smooth ride whatever the rider faces... would love to know more about the power and brakes and suspensions...

Yea, Yamaha's new P twin T7 Tenere can't be too far off now. I'm betting most magazines are now testing the T7, reviews should start appearing late Summer, even earlier in EU/UK.

Hopefully Yamaha do an "official" release at EICMA Milan show in November, or shortly there after. IMO, they've a lot riding on this bike as the Super Tenere' has been a bit of a let down and poorly reviewed in many corners. They must do better on this new T7.

PeterHansel makes ANY bike look good! The perfect spokesperson and he only has to ride!

The all new Made In China, P twin KTM 790 may be lagging behind a bit in terms of it's release date to market, but I'm sure we will see it sometime in 2019 or hopefully before. It won't matter for long that Yamaha brings their middle out first ...
it's likely KTM will simply dominate.

I'm sure KTM will not disappoint, based on previous V twins 1190 and 1290 ... which many consider the BEST bikes on the market today.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
