The reason I ask is I got her, thinking it should be a great bike to commute on. Well its definitely a great bike and a very special one! But not the best for commuting the super slab with, even if I put street tires on her. At 130=81miles per hr for 40 miles! X 2 is a bit much. So I'm thinkin?

Well, they are getting very rare now so prices are getting higher. That one looks in good condition too.
All depends on the health of the engine and gear box and of course its history.
In the UK it would probably see £1000.
Maybe more in the US as they're even rarer.
Id keep it and travel on it. Wonderful bikes.

Thanks Mate! I took one ride on it and knew rite off that they were special! Limited to the taller folk, handles like a supermotard railler, engine is like bullet proof i hear! Cranks now i know how to feness her on second kick, Idles like a diesel and runs wide open like a rabbit. Shifts as smooth as my Hayabusa. I really do like riding it. Now i get the midrange surge out of it Main jet, I'll be set. Thanks

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
