XT 600e dynojet kit,worth it?
I am thinking about fitting a stage 2 dynojet kit to my 2006 4PT with K&N filter and arrow exhaust. Bike runs ok with needle lifted up a notch on standard jets, but is not as fast or smooth as my son's older xt600, which is understandably irritating. 
Has anyone got any experience with these kits?
Grateful for any advice

I got one and works fine for me, dont forget to give more air into the engine. You can try changing the mainjet to 140.

Thanks xtrock ,was it the stage 2 kit you used and did you drill extra holes in the airbox, remove snorkel etc?

Stage 2 kit 4225, if remember correct i got a new needle, jet, and a drill for drilling up the second jet. I removed the snorkel, bike runs perfect. Mine is a 3TB.. What dynojet is known for is the precision needle. I have Yoshimura exhaust, and the aftermarked exhaust pipe and its bigger inside than stock, KN filter. Its fast 0-100 compared to any bike with only aprrox 50HP.

I also have a question. Got the Dynojet kit for my XT600 when I bought the bike. I have K & N filter and Arrow slipon. It feels like the bike wants more fuel at high rpm. So I thought I would install the Dynojet kit.
"Use the slide drill (DD # 40) provided to enlarge the slide lift hole of the CV carb slide."
Which hole is it?
And where is the Fuel mixture screw located?

Its the hole in vacuum slide beside the needle.

Yes, it's worth it. I installed my Dynojet kit today. What a difference. More power at low engine revs and quicker throttle response. I didn´t drill the main jet, the bolt sat too hard. I will try another day. But it works great anyway!

dynojet kit for xt 600 fitted at last
Managed to buy a dynojet kit from the states( via Amazon) for $12 ! old stock over there, they stopped importing XT 600's long before Europe.
Stripped and cleaned both carbs, fitted needle and drilled larger air hole as mentioned earlier in this thread. Main jet was already bigger than the drill provided so left alone. Removed snorkel and fitted airbox grill from Kedo in it's place.
Bike started fine but popped and would not tick over. Also bike would surge at point where secondary carb cuts in. Adjusted pilot on slide(left hand) carb by inserting screwdriver bit up into hidden recess and turning until idle speed increased. I did this with the engine cold as when I tried with the engine hot I kept burning my hands. I think some luck was involved but now the bike runs perfectly. Prob about 4 turns out from fully in. Was 2.5 turns with stock needle. Much quicker acceleration and better performance at higher speeds (65-75 mph) Fuel consumption still around 50mpg.
Bike is 4pt 2006,45k,arrow exhaust, k&N filter.
Definitely worth it, to answer my own original question

I'm happy for you, tramsam08!
I installed a larger nozzle (140) in the main jet and the bike runs smoothly and with more power. I reinstalled the snorkel when I find it annoying to hear the sound from the carburetor. Do you? Otherwise I am very satisfied.
