Stock jetting question
Is the stock jetting suitable for elevations ranging from 5500 to 9000 ft? I felt the bike was running a little hot at 5500-6000 ft. with normal commuting and a bit of highway riding. I am wondering if I should raise the needle a notch or increase the main jet size? I think the pilot is fine, if not a bit big at a #48 size for my elevation. What do you guys think? Is the needle in these carbs adjustable or do you need to buy a spacer to raise it?
Edit: Everything is stock on the bike, including exhaust, airbox, jetting etc...
