xt600e carburetor o ring identification
Hi all!
I have an xt600e 2002 model and I have decided to clean the carb as it was getting rusty and could not be tuned at all.
I cleaned everything and replaced the valve seat, needle, and gaskets from a kit but it seems I am missing an o ring.
When removing top cover of the secondary carburetor , where the piston valve is under the diaphragm there is a groove
it looks like there should be an o ring in there.
I looked into the carb replacement parts (figure 1 from here) but I cannot find any part number.
I am not sure what is the reason to have an o ring there but there is a groove and I can see in this video that while dissasembling the carb we can see the o ring in place (figure 2).
Shall I add any o ring that fits or should I consider something special? Any suggestion would be helpfull.
By the way screw number 45 from the exploded diagram is stuck so badly that when I try to turn it by force, the metal plate starts to bend. Any idea how to remove this without destrying the threads?
Thanks!
