XT600E Torque settings
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a 1991 XT600e and am having problems finding a full list of torque settings for all bolts on the bike. I have the "common" problem of stripped oil filter cover bolts and will be fixing this with recoils as suggested in many posts so I have the settings for these but a full list would be handy for future strip and rebuild.

I don't have a manual and have been struggling to download one due to restrictions on my work computer. I did have a pc in the house but my wife took it when she left (small price to pay )
Any help greatly appreciated.

Ummm... I don't know how to help you, and I doubt anyone will have a list of all nuts and bolts (that they can copy) with specific torque for each.
I think the best way for you is to get the manual.
Here: http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...download-32180
or Google this:
Yamaha_XT_600_A_AC_Manual_de_reparatie_www.manuale dereparatie.info
that's the "name" of a manual I have.

A "bolt torque table" gives you a good guideline. Just google it and you find plenty of info the subjet.
