"Between May 2007 and March 2008, a charity journey by motorcycle of 28,111 miles was ridden. It began from the UK, heading for Australia, overland on a BMW F650GS Dakar motorcycle. The route was ... through Eastern Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan, China and India before heading to Malaysia and to the penultimate country, Singapore before reaching Australia. The trip was in aid of the charity 'Make-a-Wish Foundation', a very worthwhile cause, for whom money and awareness is being raised and your support is kindly requested.

By their own admission Two Feathers and Vicky are white trash and they manage the camp site I stayed at on Swan Lake. “Are you Welsh†“Er, no? I’m from London!†“Is that in Australia?†“No, England!†“Oh yeah, I can hear your Irish accent now!†After giving me a pitch at half price for having a bike I was invited back down to their trailer for Jagermeister and beers, and I left them the next day clutching a frozen elk stake for me to BBQ. Although I only understood about one word in three they were wonderful hosts.

"A motorcycle functions entirely in accordance with the laws of reason, and a study of the art of motorcycle maintenance is really a miniature study of the art of rationality itself". ~Robert M. Pirsig This site is designed to explore the zen behind motorcycle travel. The site looks at what motorcyclists feel as they travel and what drives them. Its a mix of philosophy and travel tales.

India on an Enfield, A Woman's Motorcycle Adventure. "I'd only ridden mopeds around London when I decided to travel around the Indian subcontinent on an Enfield 500cc for nearly a year. My journey took me through the mayhem of Delhi traffic, the deserts of Rajasthan, the tip of India, the remote tracks of Nepal and the eerie Himalayan barrenness of Ladakh."

"My name’s Ben and I really like motorcycles. So much so, that I want to see the world on the back of one. I’ve cooked up this scheme where I’m going to spend 26 days, riding from my home in San Diego all the way to Montreal to see a Formula 1 race. I’ve also shanghaied my friend and fellow F1 aficionado, Adam into this little adventure and on the 11th of May, we’ll be setting off to the Great White North. Our route will take us through Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, the Dakotas, Minnesota, Ontario and Quebec."
