NOTE: This is not our normal view, but Google's API has somehow broken the view with a map and everything nicely laid out. We will fix it as soon as possible, but it's a very big job for us. Any Google API experts feel free to contact us! For now this will have to do, sorry.
Usage: Enter one or more of the fields, as you wish. Blank field means "all". Be sure to use correct country names, e.g. "United Kingdom" not UK or England. Unfortunately "united states" (united states of america doesn't work) gets United Kingdom as well, just work down to the bottom or last page. Not case-sensitive. Results sorted by newest first.

It was a good deal and generally fine. I think Axel did a good job helping me find the best option to ship my bike. I would recommend his service. He is also a biker and has done this himself in the past.
Shipment: From Heidelberg, Germany to Orlando, United States - May, 2011

Great Service.
Drop the bike of to Stefan and everything was taken care of.
All the paperwork was ready and organised.
Great communications between Stephan and me, any questions no hassle and a few good tips for our trip.
No dismantling the bike, only disconnect the battery and not to much fuel in the tank, mirrors and screen need to come of too. The bike gets loaded on to a specially for bike designed create, tied down and wrapped with buble wrap
Picket up the bike at a warehouse in Orlando already cleared by customs, reconnected the battery and took of.
I can highly recommend Knopf Tours

Very simple. After some back-and-forth regarding dates and costs, I dropped the bike (Suzuki DR650) off at their warehouse for crating. They agreed to include my helmet, jacket, pants and boots in the crate as well. The only modification to the bike was to loosen and rotate the mirrors. Side luggage & top case were left in place. Fuel was at 1/4 tank, and the battery was left connected. Final dimensions, per the air waybill, were: 210 x 85 x 145 cm, 334 kg.
The bike traveled by air from Lisbon to Newark, then by truck (ForwardAir) to BWI airport. The bike was crated very well, and my riding gear was boxed and bubble-wrapped very securely, and included in the crate. Total transit time for the bike, from drop-off in Lisbon to pickup at BWI, was 8 days. There was a port fee of US$40 payable at the ForwardAir office when picking up the bike.
Customs paperwork was very simple at BWI, but the customs office is on the other side of the airport complex. Also, the bike could not be uncrated at the ForwardAir office, so I had to get a truck to retrieve the bike and uncrate it elsewhere.

We air freighted our two XT600's. On British soil I can not fault James Cargo. It was great and so easy dealing with them. We rode the bikes into their warehouse at Heathrow, filled in a few forms and were gone. Once we arrived in Canada, however, it was a different story. Getting the collection address for the bikes in Montreal was like pulling teeth. In the end we found them ourselves, BUT after hours on the phone with the help of our French speaking friend. No amount of emailing to James Cargo could make it clear to them that we did not have sufficient and correct information to collect our bikes. I guess it did not help that all this happened over the Royal wedding weekend, but that is no excuse to leave us to our own devices!
Once we figured out where the bikes were, we went there, paid about CAD90 each in taxes and then had to go to the customs building which is a couple of kilometres down the road. They sent an official out to the agent to check the bikes within an hour, we waited at the offices (cafe downstairs). Then back to the agent, where they forklifted the bikes out, helped us remove the crates and even disposed of them. We packed up and rode off! this all took only about 2.5 hours once we found the bikes. You'll need some transport to get around!

Found them in the internet. Were the only positive response on shippping a vehicle. I shipped my Honda Varadero. Takes 3 days to Brisbane, charged by dimension as actual shippiing weight would be less. (780 kg incl. crate) Built crate for me (350 CD). 150 CD for cleaning and disinfection.
Recommended another broker in Australia in case of problems clearing the bike myself.
