2017 Honda Africa Twin USA PLATES in Madrid, SPAIN

Selling my 2017 Honda Africa twin manual transmission. Motorcycle is registered in California with a clean California title. The bike is in Madrid, Spain at a storage facility. I will be in Europe September 2-17 and could possibly meet a potential buy in Madrid.
I flew the motorcycle to Europe in 2019 to do a trip around Europe. I was planning on returning to do another trip around Europe in spring 2020 but COVID hit. Since then I’ve started a family and just don’t have the time to travel around the world right now. It’s getting to expensive to just store the motorcycle.
It’s a great running motorcycle with no issues. Has new battery and tires done a couple months ago. Also just changed the oil and front fork seals with new fluid.
The valves were adjusted right before I flew it to europe. It had about 20k miles.
The motorcycle is extensively modified. I will try to think of everything.
Parts list:
Mosko Moto Panniers with locking cables
Custom made aluminum tail box that locks and you can mount a bad on top. I used the mosko Moto duffel bag.
Mosko moto tank bag
Mosko Moto tool roll with all the tools included. Pretty much any tool you will need on an adventure bike. This alone is worth a few hundred dollars
Alt rider skid plate
Alt rider crash bars (the whole kit)
Alt rider radiator guards
Alt rider rear luggage rack
Alt rider clutch arm cover
HDB NexGen hand guards
Camel Brace" Peg Support - protects pegs in case of accident
Aluminum pegs
Givi pannier rack
Pro Taper Adventure Bars
OEM Honda center stand
Rigid industries light that have an amber cover for daytime riding.
Front light bracket
K&N air filter
Oxford heated grips
Seat Concepts Rally seat
Heidenau K60 Scout Tires
Air compressor
Spare tubes
Some spare parts on the bike
Front and rear are resprung for adventure riding
Also has camping gear, stove, tent, sleeping bag, air mattress, 2 person tent, cookware and utensils and a camping chair.
I’m probably missing a ton of stuff I completely forgot about.
This bike is done and ready to go. Just fly in with your riding gear and go explore. That’s how I left it.
This bike is a smoking deal. It has probably $5000 in aftermarket parts.
I’m asking $10,000 USD obo for everything.
I’m the original owner and title is in my name.
Contact me for any more info

Africa Twin

Nice bike but I fear import duty and registration into EU country would be rather expensive and very frustrating. Can’t you ship it back to US.

Hi, interested but fear the paperwork/costs of putting it into my name could be daunting. I am Canadian and have biked pretty extensively around the globe but never in Europe. Any chance I could do a bike swap (my bike in Nova Scotia, Canada) or possibly rent your bike in Spain as a prelude to purchase decision?

Interested.

Hi Andrew, congrats on starting a family. Couple questions:
If your AT is still available:
1, Is that a mechanical throttle lock I see?
2. Do you have the title and current registration in the US?
3. Your height and weight and who did the suspension?
If you have WhatsApp, let's use that and I'll PM you my #

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
