For Sale: 2007 BMW R1200GSA (BC, Canada)

Price: $8,600 CAD
Location: downtown Vancouver, BC

I'm selling my '07 GSA as my secondary bike is nearing collector's plates here in BC and will make insurance way cheaper.

This bike has been well taken care of; I have detailed maintenance notes on it. 69,000 miles on the clock, but it runs like a sewing machine. Most recently it's had brand new Anakee 3 tires put on it and oils changed. Comes with the three boxes here, all keyed to the ignition so there's no need to fumble with multiple keys. The bike originally came from the States, so the speedometer has the US/metric markings, and the odometer/thermometer are in imperial.

It's ready to go as-is, I'll insure it myself and ride it this summer until someone else would like it. It would be a perfect bike for someone to take out to HU CanWest this year!

Two cylinders are better than one

Great looking bike! It would be nice to trade up from the KLR. Do you have any guidance about buying a Canadian bike and bringing it to the States?

Motorrad in Canada

How does a purchase in Canada work for me as a foreigner?
How is registration and insurance even possible?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
