Wanted: Motorcycle in Ecuador or Colombia
Hello everyone,
I'm an America looking to pickup a an ADV bike to to tour the continent with my girlfriend once everything clears up. I'm currently in Ecuador, but as of late, Colombia is opening soon.
I'm 6'2 230lb and she's quite small, bike would need to fit us both comfortably. Please let me know what you have

2018 Suzuki WeeStrom XT For Sale!
I have a completely travel-equipped beautiful WeeStrom (2018 Suzuki DL 650XT with a US title and registration that entered Ecuador in January 2020. Since I was here in Cuenca, at the beginning of the pandemic, it is still legal.
I am only looking to sell my 4th WeeStrom because I can't nationalize it here and want to finally stay in one place after moto travelling for 12 years.
I spent almost a year researching what I wanted on my últimate Wee and then finding where to source the the parts and tools that I wanted, and finally installing and testing it. I rode around the northeast, US and Canada, then down to Miami in order to ship it to Cartagena, Colombia before riding it to Ushuaia and back up to Ecuador.
You couldn't ask for a better equipped ride, especially for 2-up adventuring in Latin America.

I have a California-plated 2005 Suzuki V-Strom DL1000 in Quito. My girlfriend and I rode it down from the US, entering Ecuador in March 2020, then covid put an end to our trip. We loved the bike and it's very comfortable for 2-up. It's now at a private address in Quito ready for sale. I posted an ad on horizons unlimited - you'll find it a few below your post. Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
