Boston to panama
Hey all new to this site and will be leaving Boston 3rd week in oct 2014 for panama. Will be riding a 2013 klr 650 that I'm just now starting to get ready. I'm looking for others out there who are thinking of the same trip. I will have 4 months to ride and could possibly even head further south. I'm not looking at blasting right down there cause I'd kinda like to explore some areas.
If thinking of a trip like this please get back to me my name is jay

Hey Jay,
Have a fun ride! I did New Hampshire to Tierra del Fuego a few years back. Let me know if you have any specific questions. All the best amigo!

Hi Guys, I am planning on flying from UK into San Fran, California early-mid September to buy and kit out a bike before heading south to Argentina. I too was looking at KLR650's. Was aiming to leave after the HUB event in Cali (25th-28th Sept) so might be a little early for you however I have no time frame and am pretty flexible. Feel free to contact me and keep in touch. alex_ak (at) btinternet (dot) com
Best of look with the planning guys!

Hey Masonmon, who are you using to ship your bike back to the US? We are in Mexico right now thinking about going to Panama City, rather than driving back up through the US to Vancouver
Cheers

Also heading South into Mexico and beyond, possibly all the way to Pata. But Sept is way to early to be in CA. Anyway, for my travel plans, see The Americas: Top to Bottom. Would very much like to have company through CA.
Cheers,

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
