Getting covid test in the North of Germany or Denmark
Hello, I live in Belgium and have Belgian nationality.
I plan to drive by motorcycle to Sweden in June.
I could take the ferry from Germany or drive over the Oresund bridge
For entrance in Sweden I need a negative covid test not older than 48 hours.
So that is only a short time when I have to do the test before I leave.
Is it possible to have a test taken in Germany or Denmark as a non- citizen and how long does it take to have the result.
I already got my 2 shots of the Pfizer vaccine.

You dont need any test, if you proof the vaccination. ( coronapass)
Its free to test, in Denmark , in roedbyhavn, if you go by ferry.

And even for entering Germany you don`t need a test if you got a single shot of Johnson&Johnson or your last shot from other vaccines is older than 2 weeks. Your yellow vaccination certificate will be valid up to day when a digital vaccination certificate will be on duty. This is projected (!) by Germany for the second half of 2021.

Thanks for that information.
As I am fully vaccinated it will be no problem, so I will get a test in Rodbyhavn. How long does it take to receive the result of the test?

in Germany:
It takes 15 minutes to get the result of the test.
How long have I to wait at the testcenter:
Depends on the day and how many people are waiting for a test.
You can make an appointment online.
In Germany I would make a official Test not on the Island called "Fehman",
because verry touristik area and extrem buisy in the summer.
You can make tests (some kilometers before leaving germany) in almost every pharmacy, Lidl-Supermarket, DM-Shop; Gardening-Center, hardware store etc.

Its no problem. Tests are possible in every small city.
Its a big big buissness ...
(gouverment pays / german tax payer: are paying the bill in germany)

I just went through the Danish border from Germany. They did not ask about any test, but they did stop me. I said I was in transit.
You can check here what you need for every country:

I crossed the Belgium-Netherlands-Germany-Denmark- Sweden borders, no question about covid test or vaccination.
Got a free covid test at Rodby Havn ferry dock, results in 15 minutes

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
