Touringarticle
My name is Helene Lundgren and I work as a freelance journalist in Stockholm. I have written touringarticles for MC Nytt, Allt om MC, Motorrad, Big Twin and several german, danish, english and dutch motorbikemagzines .
I have an article to make for one of our biggest motorcyclemagazine Allt om MC about touring on Iceland.
I have a friend who is a photographer and a bikerider in Sweden with several bikes at home so if you know anyone that could rent out a private bike and we could go with you.
Another option is if I could join any trips planned this summer on Iceland as a passenger.
I have made about 15 touringarticles all over the world and the latest one was about touring on Cuba for swedish, danish and german bikemagazines.
Please write back to me and I can send you earlier articles that I have made.
Maygreetings
Helene Lundgren

Ok, that's what we'll be doing. I have booked into a hotel in Reykjavik, but can't find booking details, not paid any deposit either so I'm goosed unless they send me some confirmation. Plan B is to camp at the site in the centre of town as it's close to the docks where I'll collect the bike.
Hopefully see you on the road.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
