Insurance in Haifa
Hi, I am travelling from Greece to Israel this week (bike by Salamis ferry and us by plane). I can't find any information about how to get motorcycle insurance for Israel (or Jordan, Saudi Arabia or UAE either) - any help would be much appreciated.

How much did you have to pay for the Haifa expenses at A. Rosenfeld? Would be awesome to know a benchmark since we are doing the same trip.
Thanks!

Contact AXA GIG, I'm doing the same trip but in reverse. They are doing my insurance for GCC & Jordan.

I’ve completed that trip into Israel and Jordan and next month from Amman back to Ireland. I’m going a different route home shipping with rosenfeld from Haifa to Athens and flying from tel aviv. Rosenfeld roughly €400 plus the price of a cheap flight. As far as getting insurance for Israel there is an insurance broker about 1 mile from the shipping office(rasheed from rosenfeld will keep you right) you can purchase the insurance there which you will need once you enter the port customs. Be aware of the opening hours for the ports and customs, holidays are regular and the office will just close early before holidays. If you travel into Israel from a land crossing there will be an insurance desk at the entry point. The same goes for Jordan land crossing, you will have an insurance desk. Insurance in Israel is crazy expensive I paid £250 for one month, Jordan is better £80 for a year.

Jordan, Saudi Arabia, UAE all three you can purchase insurance at the border after you finish with the countries passport.
Insurance here is cheap, expect to spend about $40-$50 in each country. As for Jordan, you will need a trip ticket for me they required one solely for Jordan, I purchased mine at the saudi side and it cost me $200 for the trip ticket to enter jordan. For a motorcycle!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
