Any recommendation for a riad/hotel near the center that has private garage for the bikes ?
Thanks

Personally I wouldn't be too concerned about a garage, just chuck the bike in supervised parking, plenty of it around Marrakech or any Moroccan city. A little light haggling and a few days will cost no more than a Starbucks.

Riad comes from the Arabic for garden and is a traditional medina house arranged around a central courtyard with two fruit trees of different species and a fountain. Houses lacking the fruit trees/fountain are called a dar.

You are highly unlikely to find a traditional riad with a garage. But the medina is full of mopeds and there are moped parking places all over. I understand the local rate for an overnight park is 7dh, you are more likely to be asked for 40 dh, but stand your ground and you shouldn't need to pay more than 10 dh for secure overnight bike parking.

Hi fcaeiro

What is your finding? If you could share. I will be there in one week and still looking for the best hotel with secure parking.

We stayed at Hotel CTM, Place Jemaa El Fna, Rue el Ksour, Marrakech 40000, Morocco.

You have to drive onto Marrakech square to get to it. The hotel is very basic but it has a secure car park right underneath, I left a fully prepared Discovery 1 in the car park with no problems
