ABR Weekend Rally EVERY month - UK - Nationwide

We all love the dream - going around the world and seeing new things.

It is achievable of course! HU is all about that.

Adventure Bike Rider Magazine has the busiest motorcycle magazine website in the UK. Over 500,000 unique visits per month and we are just getting bigger and stronger - this means we can do more for riders.

What we have are weekends and while not going around the world there is no reason that you should not be able to have an adventure, right!

Adventure Bike Rider Magazine holds a rally every month of the year - be it sunshine, rain or snow. People just like you that want to spend some company with like minded people and ride our bikes!!

You're thinking ... how much?

We don't change anything - you have your camping fee that goes to the farmer, we get you a discount with the numbers, some events as little as £4 per pitch!

We LOVE to ride our bikes - we have ride outs set up. Leading you around the best parts of the area where we are holding our base camp, be it Dartmoor National Park or the Scottish Highlands!

There tends to be a choice of ride - on road for the sights or green lane if you want to get those knobbly tyres worn in! The rides are often lead by advanced riders and even TRF members.

You're thinking ... how much?

No charge - the rides are put on because we love riding our bikes and we hope you love riding around too.

All you pay is your camping fee - and as I said, we get that reduced.

Turn up with a tent and a bike - your set, that simple

Hope you can make it to one of the rallies - see you there

Welcome to Adventure Bike Rider

JUst head to the forum and check out the rally section

Any help or questions then please let me know

I love ABR meetings for this very reason.. Like minded folks chilling out in a field, playing on their bikes etc etc.

It doesn't have to cost anything to have a good time with like minded riders ... ABR and HU are both great for this reason.

The HU meetings are also BRILLIANT but at the other end of the scale with all the fantastic things they offer.

It's brilliant that there is so much going on in the Overland travel scene..

I´ve been to three of these over the last 12 months, and every one has been different, but great. They are so laid-back that they are positively horizontal. Cheap, fun, and no pressure. I would highly recommend - particularly if you are travelling around the UK (or Spain). At the very least you´ll get some of the cheapest camping in the UK!

Like others, I think the HU events are top notch too, but with a different focus.

New to Horizons Unlimited?

New to motorcycle travelling? New to the HU site? Confused? Too many options? It's really very simple - just 4 easy steps!

Horizons Unlimited was founded in 1997 by Grant and Susan Johnson following their journey around the world on a BMW R80G/S.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
