I may be wrong but I don't think MapsMe does this, try Viewranger, MotionX or some other apps

Use an online gpx to kml converter like gpx2kml.com then email the kml file to yourself
When you try to open the attachment on your phone it should open it in maps.me

Btw maps.me will just show your track as a line on the map. You can't actually navigate it. You will only be able to see where you are in relation to the line, but that is it.lots of people are fine with this level of navigation.
If you actually want turn by turn navigation of a tet track, OsmAnd would be a much better option.

instead of maps.me
I've just downloaded organic maps, it seems to be the next open source instead of maps.me and it's very easy to open gpx files.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
