Vietnam - Cambodia border crossing info
I will be flying into Saigon end February 2025 and planning the big trip from South to North (Hanoi) and this will be my 3rd tour of Vietnam.
As a ASEAN passport holder, I do not need visas but only allowed 30 days entry.
I estimate my tour will take around 6 weeks so I will have to do a quick border run into Cambodia around the 3rd week.
I am looking at the Le Thanh, Vietnam border crossing into Oyadav, Cambodia.
I am uncertain if this border crossing allows foreigners and if it is possible to exit Le Thanh, Vietnam , enter Oyadav, Cambodia and then exit Oyadav and enter Le Thanh, Vietnam again on the same day?
If possible I intend to do the border run in a day without staying overnight at Cambodia.
I will leave the rental bike at the hotel at Le Thanh for the border run.
Thanks

Welcome home then!
I will scrap the idea of a border run and just get a evisa valid for 90days. It can be applied online and I do not need to be present at the Vietnamese embassy.
For Thailand the visa has to applied in person at the Thai embassy. So, Vietnam wins for ease of getting a Visa.

Looks like you've got a solid plan now with the 90-day e-visa. If you need more info or tips for your trip, check out this guide I found on Vietnam tourism https://gowithguide.com/blog/tourism...vel-guide-5696 It might have some helpful insights for your journey. Safe travels!

So here is your answers:
1: Visa: No need a border run. Apply it online through THE ONLY GOV appointed website and get a 3 month visa (This officially should be taking 3-5 days but some people stuck on the application for more than 2 weeks), So apply your visa 1 month before departure, to even earlier.
here is some general info & guide, on Vietnam visa: https://www.vietnameseprivatetours.com/vietnam-visa
2: If you really want to do border run. follow this: Drive your rent bike to the border (the most popular is Moc Bai from Saigon), once at the border, park your bike at a cafe or restaurant, walk to eh border, exit vietnam side, enter cambodia, then exit cambodia (Yes, you need a cambodia visa, or if you're eligible to get one at the border), I say this cuz some people think they can just walk to No-Man land without entering to Cambodia.
Then re-enter vietnam and enjoy your days.
hope it helps
