Coolest, cheapest hostel for adventure riders in Punta Arenas, Chile!
Coolest, cheapest hostel for adventure riders in Punta Arenas
Run by an adventure biker from Florida who made it to the bottom two years ago and stayed!
Backpackers Paradise offers a friendly party atmosphere with plenty of community space, indoors and out, where you can prepare and eat meals, plan the next step of your journey, drink with your travel buddies, or create new friends in the buzzing environment. Located in the heart of Punta Arenas, Backpackers Paradise is the only hostel in town to provide a party vibe, as well as being conveniently close to the three main bus stations, the cinema, restaurants, and grocery stores. We have all the information on tours and local attractions, plus you can book most of them right from here. In the evenings, you can trade tales of adventure around the firepit or, of course, PARTY all night! The hostel’s Basement Bar is open every day until 2am… with NO curfew.
Our prices are amongst the most attractive in Patagonia and specially adapted to suit the budgets of travelers. Best of all, show up on a motorcycle and the $10,000 pesos/night price turns into $8000 pesos/night. Backpackers Paradise has everything you could possibly need to make your stay in Punta Arenas an epic one.
Oh, and did we mention that there is secure parking for your motorcycles on-site? Well, there is. Plenty of space for up to 10 motorcycles in the gated back courtyard. We also have a good relationship with the local shops and information on where to get parts or repairs done to your motorcycle here. Trying to sell your bike? We can help with that too.
Got a sticker for your trip? Slap it up on the front door along with all the others. We love meeting and showing off our adventure riders.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
