Motorbike does not work - stuck in Buenos Aires - Need Help

Hi Forum,

I bought in Santiago de Chile an Honda xl 250 dagree 1990 water cooling.

From Santiago to Mendoza the Lamp for overheating shines red for a very long time. Fans do not run. then I put some water into the cooling and it runs through and came out of some sleeves next to the motorblock. Since now when I try to start it doesn`t start very well and now it doesn`t start a t all.

So I think it is the cylinder head gasket.

My question is now. Do you know a repair shop in Buenos Aires who is recommendable and do you know how much something like this would cost me?

Thanks for your advice and other hints

Chris

Bike down in Buenos Aires

If you want a first rate authorized Honda repair shop go to the very first official Honda dealer in Buenos Aires, Argentina at: 7550 Juan B Justo or call 467 2558 in Buenos Aires.

Jorge Nakandakare's family walked from Chile across the Andes to Buenos Aires in the early 1900s and established a farm machinery dealership and when Honda in the early 80s came looking, employed the Nakandakare family as the very first authorized Honda dealer in Argentina.

Jorge is in his 80s now but has a factory trained staff of first rate mechanics. Xfiltrate and I have purchased 3 new Hondas from him and, when not on the road, have had all of our servicing/repair done in his excellent shop.

And, let me know if you need safe and secure parking for your Honda in Buenos Aires...
