HU Blog On The "Radio"
*self-promotion alert*
I wrote a load of stuff here (link below) a while ago about riding across continents and drinking etc.
On Sunday afternoon (UK time) a bit of it will be transmitted in radio format (via the internet, obviously) on Radio Crackle, read by a splendid actor bloke. If you have nothing better to do, here are the details:
---
My thing about bike cops in Panama on the "wireless". Sun 3pm UK/4pm CET @ Radio Crackle (Not sure what section of the show it'll be - I think the show is 1 hour long.)
---
If you can't listen live, you can download it as a podcast or summink from the link.
A week or so later I'm going to be on the same programme being interviewed about it. There may be rude words. Cheers! Kalispera! Buena Suerte!

I went to Crackle ... only found past shows. No current calendar listing for UPCOMING shows. I have no idea when it's going to be on in local time ... but I guess I could find it in archives after the fact ... but they only only cover 2013. Nice!
(I'm guessing the Apple folks did not design that web site! )
Maybe post a DIRECT link HERE to the pod cast once it's aired?
Just a thought.

Hi Mollydog
Yes - it's live at 3pm UK time (10am New York) tomorrow on that link, and it'll be downloadable from there afterwards.
The show is called "Serendipitous Compendium" - last week's show is the top listing there - anyway I'll post a direct link afterwards. Cheers!

OK - here it is. The show is an hour long, and my bit (read by actor Alan Wallace) is at 54m 13s.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
