BAM / Road of Bones/Japan

Hello,

who is planing a trip in 2017 to Magadan over the BAM and Road of Bones and Old Summer Road?
Who also want to go to Japan?
Eventually we can make some parts of the trip together.

I plan to send my bike to Ulan Bator. And from there i want to start.

First to go to Magadan, then to Japan.

Who have tips for ferryboat to Japan?

From which town is it the best to go to Japan? Vladivostock?

Thank `s for all tips!

Best wishes
Hans

BAM - RoB July

Hi,

I'm also planning to do BAM and RoB in July. Maybe we can meet in Irkutsk, on the BAM, RoB or already in Ulan-Bator (coming from the "middle route" through Mongolia then). I'm riding solo on a KTM690 and search for somebody or a group to join on the BAM and/or OSR.

Hello guys

Is anyone going to ride all the way through Russia from Europe?
Is for the Road of bones a light weight bike recommended or what is about tackling it by an over 200kg bike? Very challenging?

Cheers
Ken

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
