Canada to Panama Sep to Dec 2015
Hi,
I have September 1st to December 12th off this year and was wondering if anyone would like to join me or if I could join a group on a ride from Edmonton, Alberta Canada to Panama or meet up some point along the way. I was planning to leave September 1st, spend 2-3 weeks travelling through the US, 3 to 6 weeks through Mexico and 6 to 8 weeks through Central America.
I don't really have any plans or dates set, just I'd have to fly back on December 12th.
I have an idea of some places i'd like to see on the way down, but the itinerary is pretty much wide open.
I prefer camping, wilderness and wildlife activities over spending time in the big cities.
If anyone is interested send me an email so we can talk about it more jeff34k at gmail dot com.
Thanks
Jeff

Klazsick,
I leaving after the HU meeting in BC in late August and headed south on a DR650 at a leisurely pace. Where are you located? What are you riding?

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
