China crossing 2020 (Kyrgyzstan - Pakistan)
Hi there,
my wife and me are planning a trip via silk route to India starting from Hamburg late March 2020. While we're planning to go through Turkey and Kaukasus rather on our own, we could well imagine to make Pamir and Karakorum Highway together with some other bikers. Time window for starting on Pamir Highway is end of May, latest beginning of June to enter China. We've not yet made any arrangements with travel agencies for China but we're about to start. Anybody with similar plans, just send a pm to exchange email. Arne

Hi Marius,

Hello together,
me and two other guys from Erlangen and Munich are planning the China border crossing mid of September 2020 with our bikes, coming from Tadschikistan / Pamir Highway and entering into Pakistan (Khunjerab Pass).
Maybe we can contact Hendrikk and passing China in a group?

Hello all,
I might be interested to join your group as well. Have a plan to be in Pamir Hwy 2020 September on my Honda CB 500X and going to India from there. What might be cost for one person in this group to cross this part of China to India? After Pamir, I was thinking first to ride all the way back to Iran->Pakistan-> India, but this might be one option.

Hi,
I am also looking for others to cross China with me from Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan potentially 6 July to 11 July 2020 (subject to the status of the Corona virus).
The plan is to enter China (Irkeshtam Pass) thence to Kashgar and Pakistan (Khunjerab Pass).
I have made a booking with West China Expeditions and they are currently showing it as proposed tour date here:
https://westchinaexpeditions.com/iti...-kashgar-china
Currently the cost would be $US 1,500 but this may reduce depending on numbers.
If you're interested let me know and I will send you more info.
West China Expeditions will sort all the paperwork including Chinese registration and driving licence and they will send you letter of invitation for the Visa.

Hi there,
I´m one of Stephi´s friend who also will travel through central Asia this year.
Would be nice to set up a group to cross China and share the costs.
Looking forward to discuss details or even a meeting before booking.
Cheers,
Zoli

We wanna go from Tadschikistan to China, border crossing via Kulma Pass and from China to Pakistan, border crossing via Kunjirap Pass.
Time, something around 15. September 2020 +-5 days approximately.
