Heya RideBeyondBorders
I am looking to go the other way starting at Magadan if interested
The from my post http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...t-2019-a-96003
Good afternoon Hubbers
Tentatively planning to leave beginning May 2019, start Magadan and head west....not sure if May is too early or not for ROB?, anyone with knowledge here would be welcome to advise please.
Looking for average/competent traveller/riders, I will be on a WR250R and won't be going hard out.
Plan is to do ROB summer road, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria.
Have got about 6 months ish planned, can be shortened or lengthened to suit as are the travel plans which are completely in the air on routes etc.
Cheers all

I'm planning to the BAM in 2019, but leaving from Vladivostok in June. Would love to do the ROB but it will add too much time to ship to and travel from Magadan for my plans. I have max 4 months and want to get to the UK via the stanz, turkey, greece. DR650 off road as much as possible.

I am also going to be on DR650 and plan to do off road as much as possible but riding opposite, starting in Europe.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
