Crossing China West to East June 2018.

Hi,

Is anybody interested in joining us to ride through (almost) entire China this June? We are two on one motorcycle and we wish to see as much China as possible. Starting date should be in Kyrgyzstan on 7th of June, for a journey of 30 days, approximately 9000 kms. This is the itinerary:

Day 1: Kyrgyzstan to Kashgar China via Torugart or Irkeshtam pass
Day 2: Finish the Custom process
Day 3: Do the Chinese License and number plate process
Day 4: Kashgar to Aksu
Day 5: Aksu to Korla
Day 6: Korla to Turpan
Day 7: Turpan to Kumul(Hami)
Day 8: Kumul to Dunhuang
Day 9: Dunhuang to Jiayuguan
Day 10: Jiayuguan to Zhangye
Day 11: Zhangye to Lanzhou
Day 12: Lanzhou to Xi’an
Day 13: Xi’an Tour
Day 14, 15: Xi’an to Tianmen Mountain
Day 16: Tianmen Mountain
Day 17,18, 19. Tianmen Mountain to Shanghai
Day 20. Shanghai Tour
Day 21, 22. Shanghai to Beijing
Day 23: Beijing Tour
Day 24. Beijing one more day?
Day 25,26, 27. Beijing to Funingzhen/Pogranichny Chinese - Russian border near Vladivostok
Days 28,29,30 - extra days that will be spent as necessary somewhere on the road for rest, some sightseeing, in case of bad weather etc.

We have a quote from Chinese Agency. It is too expensive for us alone, but if you join us it will be an amazing trip

Anyone?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
