Hi, gautier74!
I'm on the same way as you, but I plan to cross from Myanmar to Laos (if it's possible) or to Thailand. But the problem is that Thailand provided additional bureaucracy for crossing, now it's similar to Myanmar - you must be with guided tour.
One problem - my dates are flexible, but initial plan is to be there at 20th of November. Let's discuss it in email, I wrote to you.

Me too! I will cross India from Mumbai in October, around to Kolkata, then north to Bhutan then in to Myanmar and Thailand through to Malaysia. I am a British Cypriot leaving next month and spending some time in Europe first.
FYI I found a tour offer through a supplier, that said if we can get 4 together, $1300 per person, for a 2 week guided trip through Myanmar and Thailand. With the new changes in regulations, this would be an all inc price apparently for the paperwork/permits, hotels inc breakfast, guides etc. Not inc fuel, dinner etc.
I will keep them filed until nearer the time but it would be great to get a small group together.

crossing India-Myanmar-Thailand to Malysia
Hi guys,
I´m a german solo rider, 47 and will leave Germany now heading south east. my plan is to go all the way to New Zealand in the next 2 years.
Will be in India from September till January.
first plan was to go on a tour through Myanmar to Thailand.
Now as the new rules for Thailand says that you need a guide i would prefer go to Nepal and fly with the bike to Malysia. store the bike there and go with a rented bike without a guide traveling through Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.
But, if there will be a Group going from India-Myanmar-Thailand-Malaysia
i´m interested to share cost. i´m flexible with Dates.
see you on the road.
Michael
