Looking for people travelling from Europe to SE Asia.
Hello,
Decided that this is the year I am going to fulfil some of my bucket list and drive my bike to SE Asia.
I am very flexible on the route and my timescales so looking for people who have a bit of a plan in place.
So if you don't mind an extra rider tagging along with your group or if you are a solo rider looking for someone to share in your adventure then please get in touch.

I don't think I will be going that fast most of the time.
do you have any places you want to visit on the way?

**DREAM** route would be France - Spain - Morocco - Mauritania - Mali - Burkina Faso - Niger - Chad - Sudan - Egypt - Turkey - Georgia - Russia - some Kazakhstan - Russia - Mongolia - China (September seems to be the time to cross this on all the chats) - Laos/Vietnam and fly home from Bangkok. (Or before if the money is running out too fast.)
I just hate all the planning, just want to get on the bike and go.
What route were you considering?

hi
Iain,
I'm hoping to do this trip later in the year myself. I'm currently finishing off a house I've been renovating. once its sold and i get my pension sorted out from work I'm ready. I'm 50 at the end of April so intend to set off and see what happens and where the road takes me. but your rout cirtainly appeals.
I'm currently riding a gsa1200 but will down size for the trip. what you riding and what time scale are you thinking about.
i will probably stop in Chiang mai in Thailand for a while. i was there for the Hubb meeting in January and loved it.
open time scale for me, may base myself in chiang mai and travel from there for a few years.
where you based
Ian (i spell it properly)

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
