Nepal to Mongolia
Hi,
I'm looking for people that want to drive from Nepal to Mongolia. Around April/May 2015. Pretty much this itinerary: 2015 From Tibet to Mongolia Self Drive Tour by Own Vehicle–China Overland Tour
Would like to alter the itinerary to visit north korea (by train) from Bejing and then continue to Mongolia and onward (the stans, Iran)

Hi Edwin,
I want to ride from mongolia through the Stan's and into Europe. Timing would be roughly the same. I will be in Nepal in march. Will fly to Ulaanbaatar instead of riding.
Few things:
I have no bike yet, want to buy a cheap (!) One in UB.
Do you see any trouble in the border crossings?
Or you going by bike or car and how do you get it there in Nepal?
Currently I'm in thailand... after that Laos, Cambodia and then Nepal.

Hi Edwin,
Nice to meet you. I worked for a China adventure tour company who focus on riding/driving tour in China. hope i can help.
As the organization of enter China from Tibet area will be very complicated, here I just would to note important information for whom would form a group and you:
1. The group have to apply the Chinese Group Visa in Nepal with your organizers' assisting.
2. And it cannot be separated once you enter China then you need to complete this tour all together with the group visa through China section. Therefore, it's also a bit hard for you to exit from Beijing to North Korea then back, as your whole group need enter and exit China together. So you need go alone or you have to find some one has exact same itinerary with you.
For more details about enter from Tibet, plz feel free to contact us: abby.zhang@navo-tour.com.
Welcome to China~

Hi guys.

Hello mate I met some 'the chonda chalenge' in russia after they had just come from mongolia. They shipped their bikes out from the uk as buying a local bike meant the couldnt cross borders!
I dont think this is the case however if you buy a bike off another foreigner.
This information was from 2013, things may have changed

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
