Salta
Great route. I really enjoyed my time there. I had some work done on the GS at the BMW dealer in Salta and stayed here. Hotel Los Reyes at 24°46'19.8"S 65°23'51.2"W -24.772159, -65.397550. Nice folks. The son speaks good English. Comfortable and clean. Looking forward to riding thru there again next year. Enjoy.

Departure will include crossing Peru, maybe february 2022, anyone planning for those dates. As far as I have read, Argentina with Chile is on the opening process.
Anyone?

Hi Ridgeback! At least I have set a week to hit the Panamericana and cross the border -if everything works fine- by the end of jan. I will be on a MotoGuzzi v85tt 2up.
I might ride to the Coordillera and take the road to Cerro del Pasco, but we don't have a fixed plan yet. Let us know wheather you keep the same departure dates and is still firm.
Maybe we can meet, or shere the places or road. We look forward to read you

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
