Smile Stans and Mongolia in July/August 2016

Hello,
my name is Maciek. I am looking for someone who would like to join me for my trip to Mongolia (whole trip or parts of it).

I plan to start adventure in Poland at the beginning of July 2016 and ride through Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia and North route of Mongolia and then back to Poland across Russia (maybe by train from Irkutsk). I want to spend most nights camping, sometimes stay in a guesthouse to wash/dry things or to avoid bad weather, etc. The whole trip is going to last around 60 days.

If you want to know more about me: I am 27 years old medical student. I graduated from university of technology as well and have some experience in motorcycle service. I started riding motorcycles when I was 16. Now, I have Honda Transalp 650. I had some trips around Europe and one to Iceland with some gravel roads riding and river crossings (RR can be found on advrider). I am not an experienced off road rider, so my ride in Mongolia won’t be super fast. I don’t speak Russian (I took a half year course few years ago, but don’t remember much of it, but I plan to learn some basic phrases).

Who I am looking for? One or two riders with similar motorcycles and destination. So if you want to ride there too and you are looking for some company, please let me.

Best regards

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
