Sydney to London
Hi it's just a thought but wow what a great rip it would be.
Just throwing it out there to see if there are any other silly people with the same dream.
I'm open to route and dates.
Just fishing for ideas and suggestions and maybe we can form a likeminded group to tackle this adventures.
Please touch base if interested.
Cheers Rob.

Hi Rob
We did this trip in 2015 but in a Mercedes Sprinter van. Shipped the van from Brisbane to Kuala Lumpur and then drove from there through Asia, China, Mongolia, across Russia and around Europe. A great experience and had a fantastic time. Happy to answer any questions you have or you're welcome to have a look at our blog at travelpod.com/members/redtilly

Hi
I'm interested in Syd-Lon trip. Sydney-Darwin-Timor-Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand-(Myanmar)-(Bangladesh)-India-Pakistan-Iran-Turkey-....
Thinking of Feb 2018 start with aims to be there for September 2018.
I have an old F650GS but I think it's too old, too big. Not sure what yet to get.
Another friend is thinking of making the trip too.
Am keen to discuss ideas...
Andy

Hi Rob. I like your plan. My thoughts are the same as Andy's who left a post here, both route & timing. I’d like to get to the UK for Christmas 2018. I'm an H U virgin so can't p m you. I’ve been toying with this sort of plan for a while now but have only just come across the H U website so am keen to have a yarn ? Have you had much dialect with Andy 0505?
Cheers

Hi Rob. I'm pre planning a trip starting in South Africa and heading north. Original plan was to depart Darwin (My location), Timor Leste, Indo, Malaysia then head north. After researching, Singapore appears to be a pain re documents importing etc (time vs reward), Thailand, Burma and China all now require tour guides and others to share costs in transiting these countries. So my plan evolved to start in South Africa and head north from there. Egypt to Turkey (Gallipoli) the Balkins, (Maybe Moscow), Europe, British Isles and Isle of Mann TT in 2018. From there to USA, British Columbia (Prudue Bay) and then home. If anyone is interested in joining in on this trip (Flexible) let me know and we can hook up to discuss.
Cheers Chris

Hi Rob
My wife and myself are planning the same trip for next year and debating which way to go re weather and time of year, Darwin - London or London - Darwin
Happy to share ideas and maybe catch up
We are fairly experienced O/S bike travellers and would like to have company on part or all of this trip.
Cheers
Doug

Hi everyone,
Bond and myself met up recently in Sydney to start discussing ideas for a Syd-Lon trip. I'm going to be in Cambodia in a few weeks time but on returning in a couple of months I want to be putting together some firm intentions of a trip. Are any of you going to be near Sydney ( or Cambodia soon ) later this year ?
Cheers
Andy

Hi, I've just joined HU and your plan is very interesting to me. I'm here later this year and I'd love to talk more about it if you are still going with the idea.
