Thailand-Myanmar-India ~Feb 2017
I'm an Aussie heading up through S/E Asia, India, Middle East and ending in Europe and I need to make the crossing from Thailand to India. At the moment it looks like it will be around February, but I'm super flexible and haven't made any plans so I'm open to suggestions. No tour guide organised as yet. Let me know if you're keen or have any advice.
Cheers,
Jason

Hi Jason
I am planning to leave oz around early march 2017 for 6 - 8 weeks look around Thai, Camb, Laos, & Viet before crossing Myanmar in April/May & heading to U K via Himalayas, Stans, Russia & Europe when weather should be rideable.
I'm new to all this & will attend HU conference at Jindabyne in Nov.
Have heard of several Aussies heading U K way around May from various places in Oz, so I will try to stay posted as my plans come to fruition. ( or not!!! ) At this stage I'm researching airfreight Perth to Singapore or K L in March.
Just thought I'd let you know
Cheers

Thanks Mark, but it looks like that will be a little late for me. Unfortunately, because of the new regulations in Thailand , I've had to set my dates now. Because the permit lasts for 30 days I still have a little flexibility though. I'll be entering Myanmar some time between 17/03/17 and 29/03/17. Let me know if you're interested in joining to save some $$$

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
