Extension to 90day European coverage

Hi
My bike is currently in Greece on a uk insurance policy that gives 90 days European coverage, I am getting very close to the end of the 90 day period and my insurance company will not extend this time. Does anyone know of a company that will sell me an add on to extend my cover by a couple of months?

Thanks

Are you talking about extra insurance? Your UK third-party liability insurance should be valid throughout the EU for as long as it's valid in the UK: https://europa.eu/youreurope/citizen...y/index_en.htm

Hi Mal,

Not sure if you're asking for comprehensive, or you're just searching for third party liability.

We're offering green card insurance/third party liability:

Or you can shop locally in Greece as long as you have a Greek address.

p.s. I assume that your bike is EU registered.

I am assuming that you have a bike that is registered in the UK.

Have you asked your insurer if they would be able to amend your policy (or issue a different policy, with a longer out-of-UK coverage period) if you paid them more money?

My guess is that your current policy is priced in such as way that only 90 days coverage out of the UK is provided.
