USA/Europe shipping how about MIA to Valencia $800 ?
Here is first quote I received on RO/RO ocean freight :
We only offer shared containers to Barcelona from Miami. The shipping is subject to availability of freight and it can take some time before it will leave. The ro ro service from Jacksonville is a better service as there are scheduled sailings.

Miami to Valencia $800 Ro/Ro
just talked with a shipper in LA who handles a lot of motorcycle shipping - he gave me an $600-800 price (or less)for motorcycle to Spain from Miami in a consolidated load..takes about a month more or less. He has agents in ports that will handle import etc....also will have airfreight rates which he thinks can beat anyone else's - we'll see......
I'll be talking to him more in the next week and he will try to put together a price sheet for major ports to and from shipping - if he does I'll post it here
email for more info
shit it's almost 100F here already, must be quarter to gotta go
cheers ZIG

update
Weel we are working on air cargo and ocean rates as I write. Looks like somewhere in the ball park of 600USD roro and of course then there are those feckin' dock fees....at this point I'm pushing for an all inclusive price i.e. the shipper includes dock fees (not import, customs etc) in the price - as they are HUGE and have some leverage there is a possibility to get the dock fees at one price with the shipment....
air cargo prices aren't in yet but the way it's looking they can beat anybody.
more later

You could always nip down to BA and hop onto the Grimaldi vessel, that way you travel with the bike.

That's just a short nip to BA, right??
I am looking to buy a new bike in the US and ship. It's too expensive here in South America for good bikes. Although, I do like your idea of traveling with the bike!
Also, thanks for sharing the quote information. I will be definitely contacting them!
Cheers,

Update pricing Ro/Ro USA to Europe
At this point the shipper has confirmed $600 RO/RO from major US port to major EU port - and we are STILL working on air cargo fares. Should know by end of next week (I hope) the final score.
I can't divulge shipper as per their request until this is finalised, but it looks to me to be a priceing no one will beat....

$600 "consolidated" to Europe from USA not RORO
oops my mistake, not RORO
Confirmed from shipper at $600 for consolidated (put in container with other goods), 4-6 weeks, from Major US ports (LA, Houston, Charlotte, NY, I think Miami) to major European sea ports, 1/4 tank fuel, no hazmat, they pallet bike themselves...
Working on SA- Afrika, Afrika - OZ, Asia -etc, and also on airfreight...
this has taken so long, and as I've got a verbal on phone that the prices are good for HU and ADV members, I'm posting the shipper's contact here -
please identify yourself are a member when you call.
