Bike addict from Denmark say hello.
To travel and to ride motorcycles have been the most important parts of my life since I was a teenager.
I've done more than 500.000km on two wheels exploring primarily Europe, and besides that I've traveled by other means in North America, Africa and Asia.
For the last 17 years I've done most of my travels with my girlfriend Katrine who shares my appetite for adventure and to some degree my interest for motorcycles - she's a good rider with 12 years/150.000km under her belt.
I'm new to HU but have been an active member of the ADVrider community for some years now - writing RR's, hosting ADV-inmates traveling through Denmark, visiting other or teaming up with them on my travels.
I hope to do more of the same participating in the HU community.
Cheers
Tonny

Welcome to the hubb. Do you travel on the WR also, or do you prefer bigger bikes like the Vstrom?

Thanks guys.
The WR is set up for pure off road/enduro riding.
I only use it for day/weekend rides and ones a year I ride it for a week in Romania participating in EnduRomania.
For longer rides I use bigger all road/adventure bikes - at the moment a V-Strom.

The Enduromania is a great event. I did it in 2008: Romania TBSdotCom
Somebody on here rode a WR250 from Europe to Magadan via all the interesting roads a few years ago.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
